Merch programs, answered
The questions that come up when you are accountable for the whole take-home program — what to make, how to decorate each line, how many stations, and where the money should sit.
These are program questions, not vendor questions
Nobody who owns a merch program is asking how a machine works. They are asking which items belong in the mix, how deep to go on each, what happens to whatever nobody claims, and whether the money is better spent on a live moment or on the thing guests keep. So we answer at that level: staffed capacity is priced by the hour at $250 for the first station including setup and teardown and $125 for each one after it, local program minimums start at $3,000, and outside Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego that minimum becomes $4,500 with a $900 travel allowance. Everything else follows from the item list, which is all the quote form really asks for.
If you are still shaping the mix, start with assigning a method to each item and then look at what we decorate. If the number is what is blocking you, the budget split is the page to open first.
